Holcroft Gel Medium Gloss essentially is a colourless paint used to extend paint and give it a rich glossy "wet look" when dry. Gel medium can be used to create thick 3-dimensional textures as well as thinner glazes. Gel medium is fantastic for multi-layer work, heavy, smooth or textural glazes, as an excellent adhesive for collage and mixed media. An ideal binder for pigments and additives such as aggregates, sand, sawdust, stone, etc... It is ideal for application by palette knife in order to achieve heavily textured grounds. Clean up with soap and water. Non-toxic, water based.
